Puro Azeites processes the harvest from 15 local producers.

The manufacturing structure of the company in Cachoeira do Sul is expected to serve 30 producers by 2027, expanding opportunities and entrepreneurship in the olive growing sector.

Puro Azeites, located in the city of Cachoeira do Sul, in Rio Grande do Sul, is one of the leading brands in the olive growing segment in the country. The recent harvest ended with a production of 15% exceeding expectations, going from 28,000 liters last year to more than 32,000 liters now in 2026. But the enterprise has multifunctional aspects. The Puro team transforms its factory structure into a space for connections, mobilizing other producers, putting into practice the concept of "business within a business". In 2025, Puro processed the harvest of 3 local producers.

This year, 15 farmers used the space. The forecast for 2027 is to open the space to 30 producers. With this, Puro is providing a manufacturing structure that serves the entire region. In addition to impacting Puro's revenue, the work reflects on the production of different producers, creating an olive growing hub. “Within the context of harvest and unity, Puro functions as a space of opportunity and entrepreneurship. A special moment, especially given that Rio Grande do Sul is the largest producer in Brazil, concentrating around 801 TP4T of national production. The work of processing the harvests not only consolidates the state as an emerging center for the production of premium olive oils in Brazil, but also raises the standard of freshness and flavor for demanding palates,” assesses Rafael Farina, managing partner of the company.

Rafael also points out that the brand's Emporium provides space for different farmers and artisans from cities such as Caçapava do Sul, Pinto Bandeira, Ivoti, Bento Gonçalves, and Cachoeira do Sul. In total, entrepreneurs from 12 cities in Rio Grande do Sul exhibit different products at the Emporium, such as jams, sauces, cachaça, cheeses, knives, wines, yerba mate, and cosmetics based on olive oil that use olive oil and extracts to nourish the skin and hair.

Regarding Puro Azeites, Rafael emphasizes that it is a brand that embodies Gaucho excellence. “With olives harvested at the exact point of ripeness and cold-pressed less than 24 hours after harvesting, Puro Olive Oil preserves intense fruity aromas, notes of fresh herbs, and a balanced bitterness that impresses chefs and consumers alike.” And all of Puro's quality is attested by certifications and awards, such as the L'Orsiolo d'Oro 2023, when it was chosen as the best extra virgin olive oil in the entire Southern Hemisphere, competing with more than 150 brands from the Southern Hemisphere, guaranteeing a product without additives, straight from the olive to the table.

Varieties – At the Puro estate, olive oils are produced from the Arbequina, Arbosana, Coratina, Frantoio, Galega, Koroneiki, and Picual varieties. The Manzanilla variety is also currently being planted. Also noteworthy are exclusive productions – private label – such as Maní Olive Oil, already available in São Paulo at Padocas do Maní, owned by chef Helena Rizzo.

This is a blend of Arbequina and Arbosana varieties, smooth and balanced. Emphasis is also placed on Puro's best-selling product: the Truffle Olive Oil, available in over 500 gourmet specialty stores across Brazil and at the Puro Emporium in Cachoeira do Sul. Recently launched were also the Sicilian Lemon and Basil olive oils, in addition to a project for customizing blends at the brand's Emporium and a special system for customer-printed labels.
