
The market of corn In the south of the country and in Mato Grosso do Sul, business continues with sporadic transactions, selective producers, and buyers focused on restocking. According to TF Agroeconômica, the progress in planting the 2026/27 crop contrasts with the cautious approach to marketing and the slower pace of exports.
In Rio Grande do Sul, prices range from R$ 60 to R$ 69 per sack. The state average from Emater rose 1.84%, to R$ 62.67, while Cruz Alta maintains a reference price of R$ 75. According to Conab, planting reached 78% of the area, compared to 72% the previous week, above the historical average. Storms in the Campanha and Missões regions caused damage to crops and irrigation structures.
In Santa Catarina, prices are close to R$ 60 per sack, but demand is around R$ 55, hindering business. The state remains dependent on corn from other regions. Planting reached 65%, compared to 63.8% the previous week. Crops are showing good development in the West and Far West, although excessive rainfall is hindering work and increasing the risk of losses.
In Paraná, prices are also close to R$ 60 per sack, given demand around R$ 55 CIF. Sowing progressed from 56% to 72%, favored by rains, but prices fell. In the North Central region, the sack was at R$ 66.44; in the Central East, at R$ 65.55; and in the West, at R$ 58.06. Buyers are avoiding building larger stocks.
In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices fluctuate between R$ 53 and R$ 56 per sack, with declines after a series of increases. Dourados saw the largest drop, while Maracaju registered a slight increase. The bioenergy industry is absorbing part of the supply, but other buyers remain focused on restocking.
