
The market of corn Negotiations continue in different regions of the country, marked by caution from buyers and greater selectivity from producers. Domestic demand remains significant for absorbing supply, while Brazilian exports showed a gradual recovery in September.
According to an analysis by TF Agroeconômica, in Rio Grande do Sul, prices range between R$ 60.00 and R$ 61.98 per sack. The average state price, as determined by Emater, rose 0.62%, from R$ 61.60 to R$ 61.98. Liquidity remains limited, with industries focused on restocking and producers restricting new lots. In Cruz Alta, available corn is quoted at R$ 75.00 per sack.
In Santa Catarina, prices are close to R$ 60.00 per sack, compared to a demand of around R$ 55.00. The state consumes approximately 8.5 million tons per year and produced 2.67 million tons in the 2025/26 harvest, generating a deficit of approximately 6 million tons. Part of the supply comes from other regions and also from Paraguay.
In Paraná, buyers are indicating around R$60.00 per sack, while demand is around R$55.00 CIF. Producers remain selective, while external price increases help support domestic prices.
In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices range between R$ 54.00 and R$ 55.50. The expansion of corn ethanol strengthens domestic demand, with three plants in operation and a fourth under construction. Capacity for 2025/26 is estimated at 2.128 billion liters. State production is projected at 16.253 million tons, an increase of 16.7%, while 50% of the second crop had been sold by the 21st.
