In wheat, the first harvest tests have begun in the north, with results above the historical average. With 34% of the area in heading or later stages, the expected yields are considered promising, although the impact of the frosts from three weeks ago is still being assessed. In barley, area 94% shows Normal/Good conditions and area 92% registers Adequate/Optimal water conditions. Frosts caused leaf burn in areas of western and central Buenos Aires, while in the south applications continue to control net blotch and other foliar diseases.
