The cold front that is advancing through the southern region of the country this week should cause instability in areas of São Paulo, with heavy rains forecast throughout Saturday (10), according to the National Institute of Meteorology (Inmet). Instabilities should also intensify in regions of Paraná and southern Mato Grosso do Sul throughout tomorrow (10).

The predicted rainfall volumes vary between 30 mm and 50 mm, accompanied by wind gusts of around 60 km/h, according to the yellow alert (potential danger) issued by Inmet for the region.
With the passage of this meteorological system through the South of Brazil, temperatures are expected to drop in Rio Grande do Sul this weekend, bringing frost conditions between dawn and early Sunday morning (11) in the Serrana, Campanha and Serra do Sudeste regions, and may also reach the Serrana region of Santa Catarina.
Sunday (11) will also be marked by rain in areas of Rio de Janeiro, especially along the coast of Rio de Janeiro. The same conditions are expected to reach the northern strip of the Northeast, especially the coast that stretches from Ceará to Maranhão. Isolated showers are also expected in the northern strip of the North Region, reaching areas of Pará, Amapá, Roraima and Amazonas.
In these areas, rainfall volumes are also expected to vary between 30 mm and 50 mm, with wind gusts of up to 60 km/h.
