
The prices of soy Prices fell across all maturities tracked on the Alta Floresta forward curve in Mato Grosso, at the close of September 28, 2026. The largest drop occurred in the January 2027 contract, which lost R$ 3.46 and closed quoted at R$ 116.15 per sack.
According to an analysis done by Grain DirectThe October 2026 contract also showed a decrease, from R$ 2.65 to R$ 134.17 per sack. February 2027 fell R$ 2.51 to R$ 115.37, while March 2027 dropped R$ 1.53 to R$ 119.52 per sack.
Grainsights, the market intelligence arm of Grão Direto, also indicated that September 2026 had the smallest reduction among the evaluated contracts, at R$ 0.38, with a price of R$ 134.59 per sack. Comparing maturities, January and February 2027 were below R$ 120 per sack, while September and October remained above R$ 134.
Differences also appeared in the spot market basis. Araguari, in Minas Gerais, presented the highest positive value among the monitored markets, at R$ 4.46 per sack. Abelardo Luz, in Santa Catarina, registered R$ 2.51, while Alto Araguaia, in Mato Grosso, stood at R$ 1.83 per sack.
The Grainsights survey also showed a positive basis of R$ 1.10 in Assis, São Paulo, and R$ 0.99 in Bandeirantes, Paraná. Anhanguera, in Goiás, however, presented -R$ 2.32 per sack.
Alta Floresta stood out from the other markets with the lowest basis among the monitored locations, at -R$ 13.18 per sack. The difference between this value and the highest basis in the survey, recorded in Araguari, reached R$ 17.64 per sack.
