Soybeans have wide price differences between the farm gate and the market.

The market of soy In the South and Midwest regions, significant differences were observed between over-the-counter prices, lots, commercial references, and ports as of August 25, 2026, reinforcing the importance of location and type of negotiation in price formation. According to TF Agroeconômica, the largest discrepancies appeared in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina, while Mato Grosso do Sul showed the smallest difference between the local physical price and the CIF reference.

In Rio Grande do Sul, the counter price was R$130.00 per 60 kg bag in Não-Me-Toque and Nonoai, while Ijuí and Passo Fundo reached R$147.00, Cruz Alta and Santa Rosa R$147.50, and the port of Rio Grande R$154.50. The difference between the counter price and the lot price reached R$17.00 per bag.

In Santa Catarina, Palma Sola was quoted at R$ 133.50 and Rio do Sul at R$ 133.00. The FOB reference for Abelardo Luz was at R$ 150.00, with a range up to R$ 154.00, opening a difference of R$ 16.50 compared to Palma Sola. São Francisco do Sul marked R$ 154.00.

In Paraná, the Cepea/Esalq indicator closed the lot market at R$ 146.08. Cascavel had a commercial reference of R$ 144.00, while Paranaguá reached R$ 155.00. At the counter, Ubiratã and Marechal Cândido Rondon were at R$ 131.00. Domestic buyers reinforced the replenishment of stocks, while sellers remained cautious.

In Mato Grosso do Sul, Campo Grande had a physical price of R$ of 137.00 locally, compared to a CIF reference price of R$ of 135.50. In Mato Grosso, Rondonópolis registered R$ of 141.00 in the commercial market, 3.15 points above the Imea reference price of R$ of 137.85. In Sorriso, the commercial price was R$ of 131.00, compared to the institute's R$ of 129.40.
