Mato Grosso gains ApexBrasil office to boost exports.

Through a joint initiative between the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (ApexBrasil), the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) and the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato), the Central-West region gains a boost in support for local companies to strengthen exports. On Monday (24), in Cuiabá, the ApexBrasil Office in Mato Grosso (EA-MT) will be inaugurated with a business round between representative entities from various productive sectors and Brazilian agricultural attachés.

The inauguration ceremony will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock, Carlos Fávaro, and the president of ApexBrasil, Jorge Viana. The event will be held at Cenarium Rural starting at 8:30 am.

Currently, the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA) has 40 Brazilian agricultural attachés in 38 posts around the world, responsible for opening, maintaining, and expanding markets for Brazilian agribusiness. Between 2023 and 2025, the integrated effort between ApexBrasil, Mapa, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) resulted in more than 170 international actions carried out in 42 countries, generating US$$ 18 billion in projected business and serving more than 3,000 Brazilian companies.

O novo escritório da ApexBrasil está localizado na sede da Famato, no Centro Político Administrativo em Cuiabá.
