Cumulative revenue in the first eight months of the year reached US$1,500,000,000,000 compared to US$1,500,000 in 2024, which was US$1,500,000. "August's performance maintained the stable shipments observed since Brazil regained its Avian Influenza-Free status, which should change positively with the recent resumption of imports by Chile and the official reopening of the European Union," assesses ABPA President Ricardo Santin.

With a strong recovery in shipments, Mexico – which recently received an action from ABPA aimed at preserving trade flow – led the ranking of the main destinations for chicken meat for the first time, with 37.5 thousand tons shipped in August, a figure 873.3% higher than that recorded last year. Next are the United Arab Emirates, with 32.5 thousand tons (-16.9%), Japan, with 30.3 thousand tons (-22.2%), Saudi Arabia, with 27 thousand tons (+0.6%), South Africa, with 25.7 thousand tons (-8.4%), Philippines, with 19.7 thousand tons (+27.2%), South Korea, with 15.3 thousand tons (+65.7%), Iraq, with 12.7 thousand tons (+15.0%), United Kingdom, with 11.3 thousand tons (+130.2%) and Singapore, with 10.9 thousand tons (+14%).

Among the main exporting states, Paraná led the month of August with 158.7 thousand tons exported (-1.6%), followed by Santa Catarina, with 89.7 thousand tons (+6.5%), Rio Grande do Sul, with 44.1 thousand tons (16.6%), São Paulo, with 24.5 thousand tons (+3%) and Goiás, with 21.5 thousand tons (+20.8%).
