ALIMENTA 2025 presents the official program and reinforces Paraná's leading role in the production and export of animal protein

Curitiba is preparing to host Alimenta 2025 – International Animal Protein Congress and Fair, which will take place between June 16 and 18, at the Events Center of the Federation of Industries of the State of Paraná (Fiep). The first edition of the event will bring together authorities, experts and representatives of the poultry, pork, beef, fish and egg production chain, consolidating Paraná as a global reference in the production and export of animal protein.

More than a showcase for the sector, Alimenta 2025 will be a strategic space to reflect on how Paraná and Brazil are inserted in this dynamic and increasingly demanding geopolitical context where trade tensions, climate change, wars and the growing pressure for food security shape the scenario of production and export of animal proteins in global trade.

The event will feature panels with renowned experts, with the aim of demonstrating the evolution in food production and export and how Brazil has become relevant in this segment. The current situation, challenges, opportunities will also be analyzed, as well as what should – and should not – be done so that the State and the Country can remain strategic players in the global production and export of animal protein.

The official opening will take place on June 16, with highlights including the keynote lecture “Global Scenario of Animal Proteins – Past, Present and Future”, with economist, political scientist and diplomat Marcos Troyjo.

The president of Alimenta 2025, Roberto Kaefer, who is also the head of the Union of Poultry Product Industries of the State of Paraná (Sindiavipar), explains that the goal is to integrate the various links in the production chain, share experiences and strengthen the image of Paraná and Brazil as world leaders in animal protein. “It is time for us to show the world what Brazil has to offer: a strong, innovative production chain committed to food quality,” he points out.

In addition to strategic discussions, the event will feature programs focused on animal health, biosecurity, sanitary inspection and sustainability. Technical meetings are planned, such as the meeting of the COESA, COESUI and COESAQUA committees, and the 1st Meeting of the Say Yes to SIM Group – COSUD, focusing on regulations and advances in the Brazilian Inspection System for Products of Animal Origin (SISBI-POA).
