Brazilian pork exports (considering fresh and processed products) reached 129.2 thousand tons in April 2025, according to data from the Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA). The number represents a growth of 14.6% compared to the same period in 2024, when 112.7 thousand tons were exported.
In terms of revenue, international sales for the month totaled US$1.5 billion, 24.7 billion euros higher than that recorded in April 2024, with US$1.5 billion euros.
In the first four months of 2025, Brazil shipped 466 thousand tons of pork, an increase of 15.9% compared to the same period last year (402.2 thousand tons).
Foreign exchange revenue in the period reached US$1.09 billion, an increase of US$29.91 million compared to the US$1.09 million obtained between January and April 2024. “The April result reinforces the upward trend in exports in 2025, with growth in the main markets and expansion in strategic destinations in Asia and Latin America. In addition to the increase in volume, the sector records a significant appreciation in revenue, reflecting the quality of the Brazilian product and the international recognition of our health status”, highlights the president of ABPA, Ricardo Santin.
