According to information from the Federal Government's Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), released this Monday (17), exports of fresh, chilled or frozen pork, up until the second week of March (eight business days), were highlighted for revenue.
The revenue obtained so far in March, US$ 130,893,388 represents 73,10% over the total collected in the entire month of March 2024, which was US$ 179,059,606. In the case of the volume shipped, the 51,509,835 tons represent 65,38% of the total recorded in March last year, an amount of 78,775,868 tons.
The average daily revenue up to this point in March was US$ 16,361,673, an amount 82.8% more than March 2024. In comparison with the previous week, there was a drop of 30.76% observing the US$ 23,631,393, seen last week.
In the case of tons per daily average, there were 6,438,729, an increase of 63.5% compared to the same month in 2024. When compared to the result in the item from the previous week, there was a decrease of 30.87%, compared to the 9,314,786 tons from last week.
The price paid per ton, US$ 2,541.133, is 11.8% higher than that practiced last March. The result, compared to the value reached in the previous week, represents a modest increase of 0.16% in relation to the previous US$ 2,536.976.
