The 25th national stage of the Nelore Quality Circuit 2026 took place on October 8th, at the Friboi unit, with animals from three ranchers.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_3_sidebar_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Organized by the Brazilian Nelore Breeders Association (ACNB) and the meatpacking plant, the event had the support of the Mato Grosso Nelore Breeders Association (ACNMT), Ivomec, and Matsuda. All the cattle evaluated were uncastrated males, distributed in five lots, from two municipalities in Mato Grosso.<\/p>\n<p>Of the total, 589 animals were finished in feedlots and 210 on pasture. The evaluation indicated that 86.25% had up to two permanent incisor teeth, a characteristic associated with age under two years. Another 75.84% presented medium fat cover. The average weight recorded was 23.9 arrobas.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>According to Andr\u00e9 Locateli, executive manager of ACNB, the high participation of young and well-finished animals demonstrates the breeders&#039; commitment to finishing their herds, both in feedlots and on pasture.<\/p>\n<p>Among the confined herds, Celso Gomes dos Santos, from Fazenda Agrocondor II in Alta Floresta, won gold. In the pasture category, first place went to Carlos Eduardo Paro Lopes, from Fazenda Esperan\u00e7a IV, also in Alta Floresta. Silver went to Devanir Della Rosa, from Fazenda Rosane in Nova Bandeirantes.
