In this scenario, Sipcam Nichino Brasil launched the fungicide Cortina Gold, which combines the active ingredients prothioconazole and chlorothalonil in a ready-to-use mixture.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_3_sidebar_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>According to researcher Carlos Eduardo Valente, from the consulting firm Multcrop, trials conducted with the product recorded productivity gains of up to 12 sacks per hectare compared to areas without fungicide application. The evaluations also indicated positive results in controlling various diseases.<\/p>\n<p>Plant pathologist Carlos Forcelini, from Agro Techno Research, highlighted the technology&#039;s performance against rust, leaf spots, and powdery mildew. The researcher also warned that, in El Ni\u00f1o years, the higher humidity can accelerate the onset of these diseases, requiring earlier applications.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>According to Eric Ono, portfolio manager at Sipcam Nichino, the product showed comparable performance to triple mixtures in field trials, in addition to a low risk of phytotoxicity.
