The weather forecast from the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET) indicates high rainfall volumes between October 13 and 20, 2026, mainly in Paran\u00e1, areas of the Southeast, and the central-west of Amazonas. According to data released by INMET, accumulations could reach 200 millimeters in north-central Paran\u00e1 and exceed 150 mm in areas of Amazonas, while other regions should register weaker rainfall or stable weather.\n<\/p>\n

In the Southern Region, the highest rainfall totals are expected in Paran\u00e1, where volumes could reach 200 mm, especially in the north-central part of the state. In Santa Catarina, the forecast indicates accumulations between 40 and 60 mm, mainly distributed throughout the central region and the coastal strip. In Rio Grande do Sul, the rain should be concentrated along the coast, with volumes close to 40 mm during the week. In other areas, the weather tends to remain more stable, with isolated rainfall of less than 10 mm.<\/p>\n

In the Southeast region, instability is expected to begin in southern S\u00e3o Paulo and move northward in the following days, reaching northern Minas Gerais and Esp\u00edrito Santo by the end of the period. The highest rainfall totals are expected on the southern coast of S\u00e3o Paulo and in Rio de Janeiro, where volumes could exceed 100 mm. In northern Esp\u00edrito Santo and parts of Minas Gerais, rainfall could reach 80 mm. In other areas of the region, isolated showers are possible, with accumulations between 20 and 30 mm.<\/p>\n

In the Northern Region, the highest rainfall volumes are expected in the central-western portion of Amazonas, where accumulated precipitation could exceed 150 mm. Isolated showers are possible in areas of Roraima, Acre, Tocantins, and southern Par\u00e1, but without significant accumulations. The forecast indicates volumes between 5 and 10 mm throughout the week. No rain is forecast for Amap\u00e1 or the central-northern portion of Par\u00e1.\n<\/p>\n

In the Central-West region, the most significant rainfall is expected in isolated areas of southern Mato Grosso do Sul and the central portion of Goi\u00e1s. In these locations, accumulations could reach 100 mm in some places. Isolated and less intense rainfall is also forecast for other areas of the region throughout the week.<\/p>\n

In the southern part of Mato Grosso and the north of Mato Grosso do Sul, rainfall totals could reach 50 mm. In other areas of the Central-West region, precipitation is not expected to exceed 10 mm.<\/p>\n

In the Northeast region, the forecast does not indicate significant rainfall accumulations during the period. Light and isolated rains are expected to be concentrated in southern Piau\u00ed, western and southern Bahia, and areas near the border with Minas Gerais and Esp\u00edrito Santo. In other northeastern areas, the weather should remain stable, with no significant precipitation expected.<\/p>\n

Paran\u00e1 has the highest potential for rainfall in the South, while Rio de Janeiro and the southern coast of S\u00e3o Paulo may register accumulations exceeding 100 mm.
