The main grains traded on the Chicago Board of Trade started Tuesday (13) under pressure, due to high supply and mixed signals for prices. According to TF Agroecon\u00f4mica, in a survey, soy<\/a>, corn<\/a> and wheat<\/a> Prices were falling, with attention focused on the North American harvest and Brazilian planting.\n<\/p>\n

In the United States, the soybean harvest is progressing with good yields, and the expectation is that the harvested area will reach 401 TP4T, compared to 251 TP4T the previous week. In Brazil, planting reached 201 TP4T, above the 131 TP4T recorded a year ago. In Mato Grosso, sowing reached 331 TP4T, surpassing both the 211 TP4T of 2025 and the historical average of 251 TP4T.<\/p>\n

Chinese demand is another point of concern. The country maintained its import forecast of 95.5 million tons, lower than the 115 million tons estimated by the USDA. Negative processing margins and the anticipated auction of 518,000 tons of stockpiles could limit new purchases. In Malaysia, palm oil stockpiles reached 3.51 million tons, putting pressure on the oil complex.\n<\/p>\n

Corn is trying to stabilize after recent losses. On Monday (12), the cereal registered a slight recovery, supported by opportunistic purchases, but fell again at the opening this Tuesday. The increase in US productivity to 181.2 bushels per acre and the positive revision of about 6 million tons in production maintain the downward bias.<\/p>\n

Wheat also retreated after the previous day's reaction, favored by fund buying and an Algerian tender. Logistical difficulties in the Black Sea and the dispute between Russia and Ukraine continue to be supporting factors, while the market awaits harvest and export data from the United States. In the indicators, the dollar futures in Brazil fell 0.71%, quoted at R$ 5.0045, and Brent crude oil retreated 1.41%, to US$ 104.59.\n<\/p>\n
