The market of corn<\/a> Negotiations continue in the south of the country and in Mato Grosso do Sul, with buyers focused on replenishing stocks and producers being selective in their sales. According to TF Agroecon\u00f4mica, the gap between asking and offered prices limits business, while planting for the 2026\/27 crop progresses in parts of the region.\n<\/p>\n

In Rio Grande do Sul, prices range from R$60.00 to R$69.00 per sack. According to Emater, the average price rose 1.84% to R$62.67, while planting reached 73% of the planned area, compared to 68% previously. The crops show good initial development, despite localized damage from frost and hail. In Santiago, approximately 180 hectares were affected, with estimated productivity losses of 60%. Corn planting for silage reached 46%.<\/p>\n

In Santa Catarina, sales references are close to R$ 60.00 per sack, compared to demand around R$ 55.00. The difference keeps negotiations restricted, in a market dependent on corn from other regions to meet the state's deficit.\n<\/p>\n

In Paran\u00e1, buyers are also focusing their purchases on restocking. Purchase indications are close to R$ 60.00, while demand revolves around R$ 55.00 per sack CIF. Prices have fallen, with corn at R$ 66.44 in the North Central region and R$ 58.06 in the West. Ponta Grossa saw a drop of 0.61%, to R$ 65.85. According to Deral, the harvest of the second crop of 2025\/26 reached 99%, while the sowing of 2026\/27 reached 72%, with rain interfering with the pace of work.<\/p>\n

In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices range between R$ 54.00 and R$ 55.50 per sack. After successive increases, prices show stability and declines, including a weekly drop of 3,37% in Maracaju. The bioenergy industry continues to absorb part of the supply, while other buyers prioritize volumes for replenishment.\n<\/p>\n
