The market of soy<\/a> The week began with a partial recovery in Chicago, progress in planting in Brazil, and heightened attention to weather conditions in the main producing regions. According to TF Agroecon\u00f4mica, contracts rebounded after the sharp losses of the previous session, supported by short covering and the slower-than-expected pace of the US harvest.\n<\/p>\n

The US soybean harvest reached 171 TP4T of the area, compared to 121 TP4T the previous week and traders' expectations of 201 TP4T. The USDA maintained the percentage of crops in good or excellent condition at 581 TP4T, while 751 TP4T of the areas already showed leaf loss. Soybean oil also helped in the recovery of the grain, but the lack of new deals with China limited the movement.<\/p>\n

In Brazil, planting for the 2026\/27 crop has reached 3.9% of the planned area, above the 3.5% recorded in the same period last year and the average of 3.6% for the last five years. In the southern states, storms have increased the risk of excess moisture and may reduce the window for machinery to enter the market. In Paran\u00e1, the accelerated progress of planting and producer retention are helping to limit the available supply.\n<\/p>\n

In Mato Grosso, low humidity continues to restrict planting in some areas, while Mato Grosso do Sul faces heat and irregular rainfall distribution. In MATOPIBA, the drop in Chicago prices also did not lead to a significant increase in supply. This scenario keeps producers more cautious in their sales, especially those without an immediate need for cash, while buyers are testing lower prices without being able to significantly increase the volume traded.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
