In the administrative region of Emater\/RS-Ascar in Caxias do Sul, the plants exhibit intense flowering. However, according to data released by Emater\/RS-Ascar, excess humidity and low temperatures cause a high rate of flower abortion.<\/p>\n

Limited pollinator activity also contributes to the problem. As a consequence, there is a large quantity of deformed fruit, compromising the quality of production.
