In Rio Grande do Sul, prices are between R$ 60 and R$ 68 per sack, while the state average has fallen to R$ 61.54. Sowing has reached approximately 68% of the projected 896,400 hectares, favored by improved soil conditions and temperatures. Frosts, heavy rains, and winds caused localized damage, but the crops are mostly in the germination, emergence, and initial vegetative development stages.<\/p>\n

In Santa Catarina, sales references close to R$ 60 contrast with demand around R$ 55 per sack. The limited local supply reinforces the dependence on corn from other regions and Paraguay, given an annual need of 8.5 million tons and production of 2.67 million tons in the 2025\/26 crop year.\n<\/p>\n

In Paran\u00e1, purchase indications are also close to R$ 60, with demand around R$ 55 CIF. Planting for the 2026\/27 crop has reached 56% of the projected area of 371,000 hectares, while production is estimated at 4.07 million tons.<\/p>\n

In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices range from R$ 54 to R$ 55.50 per sack. The second crop harvest reached 99.5% of the area, and 50% of the production had already been sold. Corn ethanol expands the absorption of the cereal, with three plants in operation, one under construction, and an estimated capacity of 2.128 billion liters in the 2025\/26 harvest.<\/p>\n
