The market of corn<\/a> In the South and Midwest, the market continues to be marked by sporadic negotiations, caution from buyers, and greater selectivity from producers, while climatic factors and industrial demand influence prices. According to a survey by TF Agroecon\u00f4mica, the scenario combines a more restricted supply in some regions, progress in planting the new crop, and price stability in important markets.\n<\/p>\n

In Rio Grande do Sul, prices range from R$ 60 to R$ 68 per sack, while the average state price calculated by Emater rose 0.83% in the week, to R$ 61.60. In Cruz Alta, available corn is quoted at R$ 75. Planting for the 2026\/27 crop reached 54% of the planned area of 896,400 hectares, but intense cold and frosts have begun to worry producers, with potential impacts varying according to the stage of the crops.<\/p>\n

In Santa Catarina, business remains slow due to the gap between buyers and sellers. Reference prices are close to R$ 60 per sack, while demand hovers around R$ 55. The state consumes approximately 8.5 million tons per year and produced 2.67 million tons in the 2025\/26 harvest, maintaining a deficit of around 6 million tons.\n<\/p>\n

In Paran\u00e1, buyers are also acting cautiously and prioritizing restocking. The second crop is practically harvested, while planting for the first 2026\/27 crop has reached 34%. Deral also points to a higher incidence of leafhoppers and green stink bugs compared to the previous cycle.<\/p>\n

In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices range between R$ 54 and R$ 57 per sack. The bioenergy industry maintains a strong presence in purchases, absorbing part of the available supply and helping to sustain prices even in the face of a limited flow of business.\n<\/p>\n
