As of August 13, US export data indicated that China had purchased or shipped 12.9 million tons related to the 2025\/26 commitment and acquired another 5.7 million tons of the new crop for delivery in 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, Brazil expanded its presence in the Chinese market. Between June and August 2026, Brazilian shipments to China exceeded 10 million tons per month, reaching record volumes. In recent weeks, however, reduced Brazilian supply and higher prices have led commercial buyers to seek additional cargoes in Argentina and Uruguay.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>The report estimates that commercial stocks accumulated throughout the summer, added to recent purchases, will be sufficient to supply the Chinese market until mid-December. Total soybean imports in 2026\/27 are projected at 108 million tons, down from the 112.6 million tons estimated for 2025\/26.
