According to data released by the Department of Rural Economy (Deral), of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply (Seab), more than 67,000 of the 373,000 hectares estimated for the cycle have already been sown. The survey is part of the Deral Conjunctural Bulletin, released on Thursday (3). The area planted up to this week corresponds to 18% of the total planned for the State.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_3_sidebar_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">According to Deral, weather conditions favored the progress of operations in the fields. The pace is also close to that observed in recent harvests and within the calendar considered ideal by the Agricultural Zoning of Climatic Risk (ZARC). &quot;Paran\u00e1&#039;s corn producers took advantage of the last two weeks to plant the first corn crop of 2026\/27,&quot; the bulletin reports.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">The first corn crop is grown mainly in the southernmost region of Paran\u00e1, which accounts for more than 571 TP4T of the area projected for the cycle. The Southwest region follows, with just over 241 TP4T of participation.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Among the producing regions, Ponta Grossa leads in the area dedicated to cultivation. According to data released by Deral, the municipality is expected to concentrate 72,800 hectares, almost 20% of the total area estimated for the first harvest in the State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\">Guarapuava occupies second place, with just over 59,000 hectares planned. This area represents 16% of the total estimated for Paran\u00e1.
