Although there are still isolated plots to be sown in the south of the agricultural area, they do not alter the estimate. The limitation of soil conditions prevented a greater expansion of the area, but water reserves continue to support positive production expectations. Today, 90.8% of the area has adequate or optimal water conditions, and 76.4% of the crops are already in tillering or later stages.<\/p>\n<p>The harvest of commercial grain corn reached 88% of the suitable area, with an average yield of 78 quintals per hectare. The weekly advance was 6.7 percentage points, favored by better environmental conditions. Even so, there is a delay of 9.2 points compared to the previous campaign. The national production projection remains at 64 million tons.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>In sunflower planting, sowing reached 16.71 TP4T of the 3 million hectares projected for 2026\/27, an advance exceeding recent and historical averages. Meanwhile, the sorghum harvest was considered complete, with a national average yield of 40.7 quintals per hectare and an estimated production of 2.8 million tons in the 2025\/26 crop year.
