The market of corn<\/a> Negotiations are ongoing in key producing states, with buyers cautious and sellers more selective, while exports, harvest, and industrial demand influence prices. According to an analysis by TF Agroecon\u00f4mica, liquidity remains restricted in different regions, although some markets show greater price support.\n<\/p>\n

In Rio Grande do Sul, prices range from R$ 58 to R$ 65 per sack. The state average increased from R$ 59 to R$ 59.32, a weekly increase of 0.54%. Industries are concentrating purchases on restocking, while producers are limiting offers. Shipments gained momentum at the beginning of August, but remain below the same period in 2025.<\/p>\n

In Santa Catarina, prices remain close to R$ 60 per sack, while buyers indicate around R$ 55. The difference between these prices hinders new deals. Consumers use existing stocks and buy as needed, while producers await better trading conditions.\n<\/p>\n

In Paran\u00e1, prices are also close to R$ 60, given demand around R$ 55 CIF. International price increases and lower willingness to sell are supporting prices, although the progress of the second crop keeps supply high. The price received by the producer ended last week at R$ 56.79 per sack, 7.8% above the July average and 11% higher than the August 2025 average. The harvest reached 73% of the area, compared to 60% the previous week.<\/p>\n

In Mato Grosso do Sul, prices ranged from R$ 50 to R$ 55 per sack. Demand from the bioenergy industry is helping to absorb supply and sustain prices. The harvest reached 80% of the area, compared to 64% a week earlier, despite the work stoppage in the western region due to a lack of storage space.\n<\/p>\n
