The data comes from the Association of Farmers and Irrigators of Bahia, Aiba, published in Circular No. 33, dated August 17, 2026.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_3_sidebar_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>Soybeans occupy 2.218 million hectares, an increase of 3.91 TP4T compared to the previous harvest. The production estimate is 9.448 million tons, an increase of 8.51 TP4T, while the average productivity rose from 68 to 71 sacks per hectare. Sales of the 2025\/26 harvest reached 881 TP4T, while 221 TP4T of the projected production for 2026\/27 had already been negotiated. The indicated price for a sack of soybeans on August 17th was R$ 134.25.<\/p>\n<p>In the summer corn harvest, approximately 131,000 hectares were completed. Despite a slower pace compared to the previous cycle, influenced by the extended soybean harvest, unfavorable weather conditions at the start of the work, and operational limitations, preliminary results indicate yields between 180 and 220 sacks per hectare.\n<\/p>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_4_conteudo_mobile\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"mb-4\">\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"agk_14000_pos_5_conteudo_desktop\" style=\"text-align: center;\" class=\"d-none d-lg-block mb-md-4\">\n<\/div>\n<p>The official estimate for summer corn considers an average productivity of 187 sacks per hectare and a production of 1.470 million tons. Meanwhile, irrigated winter corn occupies 75,000 hectares, with a projected productivity of 190 sacks and a production of 855,000 tons. Sales of the 2025\/26 corn crop reached 53%, with a value of R$ 59.33 per sack.<\/p>\n<p>Across all major crops, the cultivated area increased from 2.923 million to 3.046 million hectares.
