The cold front that moved across the Central-West region in recent days is beginning to lose intensity, but still maintains areas of instability, mainly over Goi\u00e1s and Mato Grosso do Sul. The trend for the coming days, however, is for a gradual reduction in rainfall and a return to drier weather in much of the region.<\/p>\n
According to meteorologist Giovana Barbosa, the worst of the weather is behind us, especially after the hailstorms recently recorded in municipalities in Mato Grosso do Sul.<\/p>\n
"Mato Grosso do Sul suffered considerably from hail over the weekend, but for now we have no further forecasts of this type of occurrence," he stated.<\/p>\n
According to the expert, the rain forecast for the coming days tends to be more isolated and with low volumes, mainly in southern Goi\u00e1s and in areas near the border with Minas Gerais.<\/p>\n
"It's a real relief rain," Giovana pointed out when commenting on the expected rainfall totals for cities in southern Goi\u00e1s, such as Itumbiara, Rio Verde, and areas near An\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n
Weather models indicate more significant rainfall between Wednesday and Friday, but without high volumes. In most producing areas, accumulations should vary between 5 and 20 millimeters.<\/p>\n
The meteorologist points out that northern Goi\u00e1s and areas near Tocantins should remain drier. "This time of year already has less rainfall in this region," she explained.<\/p>\n
In Mato Grosso, the forecast indicates rainfall concentrated only in the far north of the state, near the border with Amazonas. In other areas, the weather should remain stable, with high temperatures and cloud cover.<\/p>\n
In Primavera do Leste, for example, there is no significant rainfall forecast for the coming days. Even so, cloud cover should prevent a more pronounced rise in temperatures. Highs should remain close to 30\u00b0C, while lows will be between 16\u00b0C and 17\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
In Chapad\u00e3o do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, the cold weather gradually weakens throughout the week, although the weather remains mostly overcast.<\/p>\n
According to Giovana Barbosa, the region should experience cloudy days and milder temperatures, but no significant rainfall is expected.<\/p>\n
"The temperature will start to rise gradually from Thursday onwards, but we will still have many days with overcast skies," he said.<\/p>\n
The expectation for next week is for a continuation of the drier weather pattern across much of the Central-West region, especially in northern Goi\u00e1s and Mato Grosso, favoring fieldwork after recent episodes of instability.
