Brazilian exports to Arab countries grew by 3.11% of their value (T4% of their value) to US$1.33 billion in April compared to the same month in 2025, according to data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services (MDIC) compiled by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce. Imports, on the other hand, fell by 10.1% of their value (T4% of their value), to US$731.1 million in the same comparison.<\/p>\n

Year-to-date, sales to the region show an increase of 2.91% (1% of the time) and total US$6.41 billion. Imports are also up, by 9.31% (1% of the time), totaling US$3.22 billion. The trade balance is in surplus for Brazil at US$3.19 billion, a decrease of 2.81% (1% of the time). The trade flow grows by 5% (1% of the time) year-on-year compared to 2025, reaching US$9.64 billion.<\/p>\n
The Vice President of International Relations and Secretary-General of the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce, Mohamad Orra Mourad, told ANBA that, despite the conflict affecting the Gulf countries, major trading partners of Brazil, alternative export and import routes are gaining ground. The conflict between the United States and Israel with Iran began on February 28.
