In March, even with unstable weather, transportation rebounded sharply. This trend is highlighted by a survey from Frete.com, which monitors the dynamics of road freight transport in the country.<\/p>\n
According to the platform, the volume of soybean freight in Brazil fell by 12.17% in February 2026 compared to the previous year. In the Central-West region, the main producing area, the decrease was 11.96%. The decline does not indicate lower production, but rather logistical delays caused by field conditions that hampered harvesting, loading, and truck circulation.<\/p>\n
With operational improvements, freight contracting accelerated in March. In the first half of the month, volume increased by 30.94% in Brazil and 30.99% in the Central-West region compared to the same period in 2025, reflecting the need to restore the flow of goods.<\/p>\n
Despite fluctuations between months, the accumulated total between February 1st and March 15th remained practically stable. In Brazil, there was a slight increase of 1.04% in the volume transported, while in the Central-West region the variation was negative at 0.48%.<\/p>\n
According to Roberto Junior, the company's executive manager of Business Intelligence, this behavior characterizes a classic effect of pent-up demand. The rains reduced operational capacity in February, and when conditions allowed, the logistics system accelerated to compensate for the delay, concentrating transportation in March.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
