The "Homeland in the Countryside" project, from the Mato Grosso Soybean and Corn Producers Association (Aprosoja MT), brings the Brazilian flag to rural producers as a symbol of patriotism and love for the nation. In its seven years, the project has already distributed more than 15,500 flags to rural producers, reflecting the commitment of a sector that sustains the state's economy.<\/p>\n
In the interior of the state, green and yellow are present in many environments, especially in the fields during the soybean desiccation phase, a time when the horizons are painted with the colors of Brazil. Now, with the project, it is also possible to see from afar the representation of the riches of a country that preserves its forests and waters.<\/p>\n
The delegate from the Tapurah branch, Rodrigo Martelli, received the Brazilian flag at the property and highlighted that he is very proud to honor a symbol representative of the struggle of Brazilians. He said that his love for the profession, passed down from his father, has only grown with time.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am very proud to be a rural producer, a legacy passed down from my father. I have a great love for the land; we see how beautiful nature is. We plant a seed, and it gives us so much fruit. I have a degree in agronomy, so this further strengthens our love for the land, for agriculture, for the crops we have, and for everything we plant,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Like Rodrigo, Peterson Piovezan Staniszewski, a rural producer from Porto dos Ga\u00fachos, also received a copy and spoke about the symbolism of the Brazilian flag in his life. Piovezan further emphasized that rural producers represent the strength of a country that produces all types of food.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am very proud to receive this flag; it represents everything we have fought for, it represents faith, perseverance, love for production, for being part of this production process. Brazil is our country of the heart, it is the country with a vocation for agriculture, a vocation for production, and I feel very proud to be part of this process of feeding the world,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n
Also proud of the flag's representation in Nova Mutum, rural producer Luiz Alberto Oliveira described the feeling of being Brazilian and the pride of carrying the values of those who believe in the country's future in his daily life. \u201cI feel very proud to be Brazilian, to work in this homeland and to fight for my country. We must have love for Brazil, which is a beautiful country, and encourage young people today that it is still worthwhile to love Brazil,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Through this project, Aprosoja MT encourages producers to have love and pride for their country. The raised flag consolidates Mato Grosso's position as the third largest producer of soybeans and corn in the world. Each producer who raises it on their property carries the dedication of a lifetime in the countryside.<\/p>\n
