The 2025\/26 soybean harvest began in recent weeks in areas of northern Mato Grosso and western Paran\u00e1, and good productivity is expected.<\/p>\n

According to researchers at Cepea, weather conditions remain predominantly favorable in Brazil's main producing regions, reinforcing optimism about a record harvest.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, liquidity in the domestic market is low, with producers holding back from spot sales, which has put pressure on prices at the start of the year.<\/p>\n

On the international front, data from Secex indicates that Brazil shipped 3.38 million tons of soybeans in December 2025, a volume 59.3% higher than that shipped in December 2024. This increase is mainly due to greater Chinese demand: in the last month alone, 2.6 million tons of the oilseed were destined for China, 83.8% more than in the same period of 2024.<\/p>\n

In the accumulated total for 2025, Brazilian shipments reached a record volume of 108.18 million tons, exceeding the 106.97 million tons estimated by Conab in its December 2025 report.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
