The Mato Grosso Pig Farmers Association (Acrismat) will hold the 4th Mato Grosso Pig Farming Symposium this Friday (25). The event, which will take place in the Cloves Vettorato Building Auditorium in Cuiab\u00e1, is free and will feature three renowned speakers who will talk about topics such as labor in pig farming, health surveillance and well-being and sustainability in production.<\/p>\n
Leandro Trindade, a veterinarian specializing in Leadership, Engagement, and Productivity in Pig Farming, will open the round of lectures with the topic: "Workforce Management in Pig Farming: Challenges and Pathways for the Future." Next, Lia Coswig, head of the Swine Health Division of the Animal Health Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA), will present on "Health Surveillance Actions, Certifications, and Market Access in Pig Farming."<\/p>\n
Closing the lecture series, Charli Ludtke, technical director of the Brazilian Association of Pig Farmers, will lead the lecture \u201cPerspectives for production with well-being and its relationship with sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n
Acrismat President Frederico Tannure Filho emphasizes that the event will be an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of pig farming in the state.<\/p>\n
"The lectures will cover topics relevant to pig farming, topics that are part of the daily challenges faced by producers, such as labor, herd health, and animal welfare. The event will also include an interactive discussion between the speakers, with room for questions from the audience. It's a great opportunity to stay up-to-date and expand our network of contacts in the industry," he noted.<\/p>\n
The event is open to students, managers, technicians and professionals in the pig farming sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
