The Mato Grosso Agricultural Defense Institute (Indea-MT) began adopting sanitary measures on Sunday (08) after confirming a case of Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (IAAP) in a domestic subsistence poultry farm in the municipality of Campin\u00e1polis.<\/p>\n
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (Mapa), the focus is located outside the state's industrial poultry production regions, which reduces the risk of impact on the production chain.<\/p>\n
Indea teams are already in the municipality to inspect all properties within a 10-kilometer radius of the affected area. The actions determined include:<\/p>\n

Implementation of a sanitary barrier to prevent the movement of animals, people, vehicles and materials that may be contaminated;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Sanitary slaughter of all birds on the property;<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

Complete disinfection of the affected area.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Indea reinforces that there is no risk to human health from consuming chicken meat or eggs, and that these foods remain safe for consumption.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
