Quirin\u00f3polis hosted the first closing of Agro \u00e9 Social in 2025. Last Friday, 11\/04, 538 Social Credit cards were delivered to students who participated in professional training courses offered in 17 municipalities in the Rio Parana\u00edba Region. The event also provided several free services to the entire community.<\/p>\n
Carried out by the Government of Goi\u00e1s, through Emater Goi\u00e1s, the State Secretariat for Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Seapa) and the Social Policy Office (GPS), Agro \u00e9 Social is a program aimed at the rural sector, with a focus on social development, entrepreneurship, productive inclusion for the generation of employment and income.<\/p>\n
\u201cToday, Goi\u00e1s is the state with the largest social protection network in Brazil, led by the First Lady, Gracinha Caiado. Our state teaches how to care for family farmers, which is why Goi\u00e1s is the number 1 state in reducing extreme poverty in the country, and Emater is part of this through Agro \u00e9 Social,\u201d celebrates Emater president Rafael Gouveia.<\/p>\n
Each producer in the region covered by the program received up to R$5,000 to be used to invest in and improve their business, thus providing an opportunity for growth in the area. In this edition, R$2.6 million in Social Credit cards were given to 538 rural producers.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
According to the coordinator of the Rio Parana\u00edba region, S\u00e9rgio Martins, the program is very important for strengthening rural entrepreneurship in the region. \u201cIt is with great pride that we celebrate today the results of Agro \u00e9 Social in our Rio Parana\u00edba Region. This program has transformed the lives of many rural families, and the partnership with the 17 municipalities was essential for us to reach the rural producers who received the cards at this event,\u201d adds S\u00e9rgio.<\/p>\n
The Agro is Social in the Rio Parana\u00edba Region benefits all the cities in the region, namely: Apor\u00e9, Bom Jesus de Goi\u00e1s, Cachoeira Alta, Cachoeira Dourada, Ca\u00e7u, Castel\u00e2ndia, Gouvel\u00e2ndia, Inaciol\u00e2ndia, Itaj\u00e1, Itarum\u00e3, Lagoa Santa, Mauril\u00e2ndia, Paranaiguara, Porteir\u00e3o, Quirin\u00f3polis, S\u00e3o Sim\u00e3o and Turvel\u00e2ndia.<\/p>\n
The event's program also included several services for the local community, such as health care, employment counter, distribution of furniture, producer's fair, issuing of ID cards and duplicate driving licenses, as well as activities for children.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
