Brazilian egg exports, both fresh and processed, continue at a fast pace in 2025, with significant growth in the first quarter of the year.<\/p>\n

Secex data compiled and analyzed by Cepea show that 8.65 thousand tons were shipped from January to March, 97% more than in the same period in 2024.<\/p>\n

According to researchers at Cepea, the increase in purchases from the United States, which has been facing an outbreak of bird flu, is one of the reasons for the advance.<\/p>\n

In the first three months of 2025 alone, the United States has already imported a volume 28% higher than the total acquired throughout the entire last year \u2014 around 2.7 thousand tons between January and March, compared to 2.11 thousand tons in the entire last year.<\/p>\n

Thus, the United States has taken the lead among the destinations for Brazilian egg exports, and a change in the scenario is unlikely even with the recent announcement by the US government about the application of a tariff of 10% on products from Brazil, according to Cepea researchers.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
