The 9th Lar Agro + Soja Forum brings together member families to discuss strategies and strengthen agribusiness.

The paths to optimizing soybean cultivation and strengthening agribusiness were at the center of discussions at the 9th Lar Agro + Soja Forum, held on June 11th at the Lar Events Center in Medianeira (PR). The event brought together members from various regions of Paraná to promote technical updates, addressing topics related to management, productivity, the agricultural market, seeds, investment potential, and viability.

"Agribusiness faces many external problems today, but the solution to many of these situations is beyond the reach of the cooperative or the producers. The 9th Lar Agro + Soja Forum prepares members to solve and face the challenges within their own farms. We are talking about improving farm management, focusing on implementing good crops, following correct management practices, and consequently achieving better productivity," he highlighted. CEO of Lar, Irineo da Costa Rodrigues.

Based on the central concept "More preparation, more unity, more dedication = greater productivity," the event promoted the exchange of knowledge by bringing the public closer to experts and major partner companies in agribusiness. This integration offered practical and theoretical tools so that producers can face the challenges of the sector with more confidence and assertiveness.

Technical Analysis and Market Trends

The technical panels fostered essential discussions across the entire production chain. Embrapa Cerrados researcher Sérgio Abud opened the series of lectures addressing management strategies aimed at achieving high productivity, highlighting the best agronomic practices currently in place in the national context for soybean cultivation.

Next, economic aspects took center stage with the participation of StoneX analyst Etore Baroni. He presented an in-depth analysis of the global agricultural market, focusing on price projections, international demand trends, and trade protection tools to assist producers in making strategic marketing decisions.

In the afternoon, technological innovations dominated the discussions. Corteva Agriscience experts Anelcindo Souza and Carlos Landerdahl highlighted the company's scientific development pipeline and the main future trends for soybean cultivation. The input and germination segment was also discussed by Arno Costa Beber, from Sementes Costa Beber, who detailed the technological advances applied to seed treatment and their relevance to the initial establishment of the crop.

The closing of the lecture series was led by the Superintendent of Agricultural Business at Lar, Vandeir Conrad. The presentation detailed an assessment of the region's investment potential and the economic viability of soybean cultivation, aligning technical demands with financial expectations.

In addition to the lecture program, participants visited technical booths from major brands such as BASF, Bayer, Corteva, Syngenta, UPL, Timac, and Yara. Lar Cooperativa also had a presence with spaces dedicated to its Central Laboratory, Seed Treatment, Lar Agricultural Stores, and Machinery and Equipment. The environment allowed producers direct contact with new solutions, combining the theoretical knowledge from the presentations with practical experience using the technologies brought by the exhibitors.

Transforming Knowledge into Evolution

“Understanding the exchange relationship is the best indicator for the member. The most important thing is not what will happen in wars or in the United States, but rather the opportunity of the moment that he can have by working with the Cooperative. In this respect, Lar offers trust, technical assistance and the best technologies through its network of partners, that is, the producer has everything he needs. What we cannot leave aside is the spirit of continuous improvement. We can always evolve, which will only be possible if we clearly understand our challenges and opportunities,” said the Superintendent of Agricultural Business at Lar, Vandeir Conrad.

By connecting theory, practice, and the market in a single space, the 9th Lar Agro + Soja Forum prepared the associated families to transform the knowledge they absorbed into real productivity in the fields and greater profitability for their businesses. With this, Lar Cooperativa continues to strengthen agribusiness, guided by a single purpose: to cooperate in improving people's lives.
