Both the volume of pork exported by Brazil and the revenue obtained from foreign sales were records in the first half of 2025.
According to data from Secex, from January to June, external sales totaled 713.4 thousand tons, 17.5% above the amount sold in the first half of 2024.
Regarding revenue collected from exports, in the first six months of 2025, it totaled R$1.5T 9.82 billion, a significant R$4.91T above the amount recorded in the same period of 2024.
According to Cepea researchers, this excellent performance of Brazilian meat shipments was linked to the sharp increase in demand from important partners, especially those in the Asian market: Japan, China, and the Philippines.
Shipments to Angola and Liberia have also been increasing.
