Imea (Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics) released a report showing updates on the state's corn harvest. The survey highlights that the 2023/24 corn harvest has already been sold in the state at 98,93%, while the 2024/25 season has advanced to 41,89%.
The last harvest registered growth of 0.93 percentage points in March/25. For the current season, which is still under development, sales increased by 4.40 percentage points over the last month and are 16.71 percentage points ahead of the same period of the last harvest.
“Some producers took advantage of the rise in prices in March/25 to sell part of their production. On the other hand, uncertainty regarding the volume produced in the state limited a more significant increase in sales during the month”, explain Imea technicians.
The survey indicates that the average price of corn for the 24/25 harvest in Mato Grosso was priced at R$ 46.65/sc, an increase of 3.38% compared to February/25.
Finally, the 2025/26 harvest advanced 1.35 percentage points and reached 1.86% of the expected production already sold, with an average price of R$ 43.47/sc, an increase of 3.94% compared to February/25.
