Cottonseed: Energy and Nutrition for Animals
Cottonseed is a by-product of the textile industry, widely used in animal feed due to its high energy and protein content.
Cottonseed is an important raw material for the oil industry. It also provides many by-products, such as oil extraction residues, cake and bran, which are rich sources of good quality protein and are widely used in animal feed preparation.
MM Cereais offers high quality cottonseed, sourced from the best producing regions.

Cotton Cultivation
Cotton cultivation is an agricultural activity that involves planting cotton seeds, also known as cottonseeds. Brazil is one of the world's largest cotton producers.
Despite the growing demand for fiber, cotton farming remains suboptimal and resource-intensive, especially due to the large amounts of water and pesticides involved.
Cotton grows in warm climates and the world's leading producers are the United States, Uzbekistan, India and China. Brazil, Turkey and Pakistan also occupy significant positions as major cotton producing countries.
