According to information from the Federal Government's Foreign Trade Secretariat (Secex), released this Monday (17), exports of poultry meat and its edible offal, fresh, chilled or frozen until the second week of March (eight business days), reached almost 60% of the total registered in March 2024, both for revenue and volume shipped.
The revenue obtained from chicken meat exports so far in March, US$ 406,544.211, represents 59.11% of the total collected in the entire month of March 2024, which was US$ 687,733,438. In the case of the volume shipped, the 227,768.133 tons represent 58.29% over the volume recorded in March 2024, an amount of 390,744.951 tons.
Average daily revenue up to this point in the month was US$ 50,818,026, an amount 47.8% more than that recorded in March 2024. Compared to the previous week, there was a drop of 35.69% when compared to the US$ 79,023,823 seen last week.
In the case of tons per daily average, there were 28,471.016, an increase of 45.7% compared to the same month in 2024. When compared to the result in the item from the previous week, there was a decrease of 34.92% in relation to the 43,749.177 tons from the previous week.
The price paid per ton, US$ 1,784.903, is 1.4% higher than that practiced in March last year. The result, compared to the value reached in the previous week, represents a decrease of 1.18% compared to the value of US$ 1,806.292 seen last week.
