The October report on grain crop estimates from StoneX, a global financial services company, showed a slight adjustment to the 2025/26 soybean crop forecast. In the case of soybeans, compared to the previous report, the increase is 0.31 TP4T, rising from an estimated 178.1 million tons in September to 178.6 million tons in October.

According to market intelligence analyst Raphael Bulascoschi, the slight adjustment is due to the harvest being in its early stages. "Although planting is only beginning in most producing regions, we have seen favorable weather for the progress of fieldwork, which increases hopes for development within an ideal window," he explains.
For the 2025/26 first corn crop, there are no changes to this October estimate compared to September, with the productivity volume remaining at 25.6 million tons.
The crop is still in its early stages of development or even in the sowing phase in some parts of Brazil, but the outlook is positive from the perspective of the planting window, the analyst points out.
Starting with the November estimate, StoneX will also begin releasing estimates for second-crop corn production, which will provide a better overview of the corn balance next year.
