Record beef exports boost prices in the domestic market.

Brazilian beef exports continue to advance at a significant pace and are already directly boosting the domestic market. According to Cepea's bi-weekly analysis, accumulated shipments up to October reached 96% of the total exported in 2024, setting a new record for the sector.

In addition to beef, sales of live animals are also showing an increase. Year-to-date, the volume shipped abroad reached 842,000 tons, a growth of 12.41% compared to the same period last year.

This intense flow to the foreign market reduces domestic supply and, coupled with the low availability of finished animals, keeps prices firm in the domestic market. Demand for beef and finished cattle remains consistent, with lean inventories and stable sales.

On the other hand, buyers are beginning to show resistance to further price increases, indicating a possible stabilization of prices in the short term.
