The Brazilian government and the health authorities of Mali have concluded an understanding on the models of International Health Certificates (CSIs) for the export of seven agricultural products from Brazil to that country: live cattle and buffalo, cattle, sheep and goat semen, as well as cattle, sheep and goat embryos.
Over the past three years, Brazilian agribusiness exports to Mali totaled approximately US$1.5 billion. The country has over 23 million inhabitants and a predominantly rural population, which offers great growth opportunities for Brazilian agricultural input exports.
With these announcements, Brazilian agribusiness reaches 42 market openings in 2025, totaling 342 new business opportunities since the beginning of 2023.
