The superintendent of the National Rural Learning Service of Mato Grosso (Senar/MT), Marcelo Lupatini, was in the São Francisco Valley this week, where he fulfilled a technical agenda focused on exchanging experiences and searching for models that can contribute to the future Center of Excellence in Grains, Fibers and Oilseeds, which is being built in Tangará da Serra.
On Wednesday (05), Lupatini visited the Senar Center of Excellence in Fruit Growing, in Juazeiro (BA). The structure is nationally recognized for training professionals for the fruit growing chain and for its direct connection with the local production sector.
“The intention is to understand what has been working in other regions and adapt these solutions to our reality. The work developed in Juazeiro shows how much it is possible to train people with quality, aligning technical training and innovation”, said the superintendent.
This Thursday (06), the delegation got to know the grape production at the Souto Agro Group farm. The highlight at the site was the use of technologies that add value to production and ensure efficiency throughout the process.
The agenda also included a visit to the Packing House of the company GoldFruit, which operates in the marketing and export of fresh tropical fruits, such as mango and melon. The company is recognized for its investment in innovation and the sustainable practices applied throughout the production chain.
“It is an experience that broadens our vision. We discovered initiatives here that integrate quality, market and environmental responsibility. All of this helps us to think more clearly about what we want for the Center of Excellence in Mato Grosso: high-level education, aligned with what the agricultural sector needs,” highlighted Lupatini.
To define the program, the group also learned about the Agro Labs and Fruit Tech projects, initiatives proposed for the development of technological solutions in the areas of production, logistics and export of fruit in the São Francisco Valley region.
