Agroceres PIC seals partnership with Fetz Agronegócios to implement new genetic multiplication unit in Goiás

Agroceres PIC has just announced a strategic partnership with Fetz Agronegócios, one of the leading Brazilian companies in the swine sector. The collaboration is part of the company’s Genetic Multiplication Network expansion project, with the aim of increasing the supply capacity of products with high genetic and health value.

The agreement provides for the construction of a new multiplication unit within the Fetz production structure. The farm will have the capacity to house 3,000 females, including grandparents and great-grandparents, with construction scheduled for 2026 and operations to begin the following year.

Under the agreed model, approximately 70% of the production will be destined for Agroceres PIC, while the remaining 30% will be used by Fetz itself. “The partnership with Fetz is a strategic step in strengthening our genetic network. We are expanding a long-standing relationship with a company that is synonymous with organization and efficiency, in a strategic move that reinforces our mutual trust, technical integration and focus on high-performance results”, says Alexandre Furtado da Rosa, CEO of Agroceres PIC.

For the CEO of Fetz Agronegócios, Carlos Alexandre Fetz, the union also marks a movement to strengthen the business. “We share strategic goals with Agroceres PIC and this partnership reinforces our values and expands our capacity to generate consistent and sustainable results,” he says.

Health excellence and cutting-edge genetics

One of the central premises of the project is maximum efficiency in biosafety, combined with the incorporation of cutting-edge genetic technologies. The new unit will adopt the AGPIC Plus genetic monitoring system for closed production, a model that ensures high sanitary standards and promotes self-replacement of the herd through Agroceres PIC Liquid Genetics. This system minimizes the risk of infectious agents entering the herd, enhances genetic progress and increases the productive efficiency of the herds. All females will be supplied by Granja Elite Gênesis.

Strategic alignment for growth

According to Alexandre Rosa, director of Agroceres PIC, the convergence of visions was essential for the consolidation of the agreement. “Fetz has a trajectory marked by professionalism and vision for the future. Its expansion plan in the coming years makes this partnership even more strategic, as it unites two companies committed to the evolution of Brazilian pig farming.”

With this new project, Agroceres PIC reinforces its commitment to solid alliances as a growth engine. “Our focus is on building long-term partnerships based on trust and a shared vision for the future. Fetz shares this same culture of excellence, which gives us full confidence in the success of this new journey,” concludes the executive.
